GOD BLESS NAGALIM!

The Naga peoples resistance is one of the oldest struggles for self-determination against colonization in the region and yet it continues to be one of the least known peoples movement in the world.

A voluntary plebiscite was held in May 1951 to determine whether Nagas would join Indian Union, or live by themselves. The result was 99.9% in favor of independence. In persuance of their declared national decision, the Naga people launched Civil Disobedient Movement and sucessfully boycotted the General Elections of free India. Therefore, the Indo-Naga issue is neither a question of "Separation" nor "Secession" from India. Separation or Secession comes only when there is a union. Nagalim was and is never a part of India and as such, Naga independence is neither a question of separation nor secession from India.

PREAMBLE

We, the people of Nagalim, solemnly acknowledge that the Sovereignty over the earth and the whole universe belongs to the Almighty God alone, and the authority of the people to be exercised in the territory is the sacred trust from God, who sustained our forefathers, the national workers and our people through the years of trials, and having committed to the trust of popular sovereignty as declared in the Manifesto of the NSCN on January 31, 1980 to constitute Nagalim into an Independent Sovereign Christian Socialist Democratic Republic, we hereby adopt and enact this amended Yehzabo of March 21, 1980 on this sixth day of the month of April in the year Nineteen Hundred and Ninety-six Anno Domino in the National Hoho held at the Gilgal Camp.

Naga Articles THE GALLOWS WAS MADE

The Rev. Seksim Kasar.

It was said that during the French Revolution, thousands of people were guillotined. King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette also went to the guillotine during the Revolution time. What one wonders here is, guillotine was a machine invented by Mr. Guillotine for killing people by beheading. Later the inventor himself went to the guillotine, hence the saying "Guillotine kills Guillotine." If he would know he will be a victim of his own handmade machine, I think, he would not have thought of making the guillotine.

JULY 3, 2008

When it comes to the application of Human right it covers all human beings and to be honored and respected by all, including the security forces of both the central and the state governments. But this is far from truth in the hands of the trigger-happy-commandos of Manipur police force.

Naga Articles HOW DO YOU PRAY

By Rev. Seksim Kasar

When you pray for your kids, how do you pray? For an unsaved person or for a criminal in your locality, how do you pray? For your pastor or for your missionary or for your mission field, how do you pray? Such are a few questions that can take you calmly to think how you really should pray. Thoughtless and aimless prayer with many words is useless. Therefore, our prayer must be specific and to the point. Matt 6:7 confirms it:- "And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words." (NIV).

Naga news News: *Counter rejoinder to Captain Vedeta*

The nature of rejoinder given by SS. Captain Vedeta on Lt. Col. Ape in different paper simply goes to expose the demeaning character of himself. But the irony is that, Vedeta in the process has made a mockery of his image before the Chakhesang and Naga people. After all, his indiscipline and degraded lifestyle is getting reflected in the true colour.

The Naga International Support Center felicitates all concerned with their efforts to reunite

For the first time in 20 years the bitterly feuding NSCN factions came together in Chiang Mai under the auspices of well meaning third parties, Thailand, to straighten out their differences. And this was necessary too. Why?
